Designed by noted architect Thomas Lamb, The Capitol Theatre opened back in 1926 as a community playhouse offering decorative beauty and luxurious comfort.

Today, the theater has been updated with state-of-the-art light, sound, and video systems as well as newly renovated common areas and unique Lobby Bar — "Garcia’s" — named in honor of the late Grateful Dead guitarist and singer, Jerry Garcis, who considered The Cap among his favorite venues in the country.

Music lovers of all genres will have an amazing experience at The Cap, which has hosted legendary acts including the Grateful Dead, Pink Floyd, Bob Dylan, Fleetwood Mac, The Strokes, and so many more.
